This piece is my reinterpretation of Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People, a painting that has always moved me with its strength and message. Freedom is both a personal and contemporary theme—a precious ideal that must always be safeguarded. Deep shades of brown, blue, and purple blend abstraction with recognition. Marianne and the flag remain visible, symbols of strength and hope, while the abstract layers of paint reflect the complexity and fragility of freedom. For me, this painting is more than a tribute; it is a personal reflection on the value and resilience of freedom, both in my life and the world.
